We offer help to car and truck accident victims. Why should you choose us? When I was in law school many students, including myself, wondered if there would be lawyer jobs available for them after graduation. One day, one of my law school professors told the class not to worry about such things. He said that there would always be a demand for knowledgeable lawyers whose services represent a good value. It made perfect sense to me at the time and at Parker and LaDuke today we strive to make our representation a good value for our clients. What do we mean by a good value? First, we are experienced attorneys with 53 years of combined experience and we know the law. Second, our fees are reasonable and either competitive with what other attorneys in the area charge, or in many cases, substantially less. Third, we will work with you to make payment arrangements so that you can get the representation you need with less financial stress on you. Finally, we seek the most efficient and fair resolution of your case as possible. Throughout our practice, we seek to be attentive to your needs. We try to build quality relationships with our clients. We evaluate your case and make recommendations in a straightforward manner. As experienced trial attorneys, we can readily assess when proceeding to trial will be the most advisable step for you. Also, when a case does not need to go to trial and should be settled, we will let you know. Our goal is to make your case as efficient as possible. This approach avoids unnecessary expense due to “overlitigating” a case. Your case should not be any more contentious (or expensive) then necessary to get the desired result. We take pride in the work we do. Our fees are reasonable, and our billing records itemized. – Tom Parker Legal Advice in Plain Language Too often, legal language is unneccesarily confusing and obscure. Strewn with latin phrases that have come down from antiquity, legal language is not easily understood, even by lawyers. Many attorneys, legislators and other professionals are dedicated to making the law easier to understand. Originally called the Plain Language Movement, it originated in the 1970’s as part of the consumer movement. Since that time, there has been considerable progress towards making the law more user friendly. Much of the legalese and boilerplate has been removed from consumer contracts, insurance policies and many legal forms. Legislators are making greater effors to insure that new laws are comprehensible to the public. At Parker and LaDuke we strive to continue the transition of the legal profession towards a more straightforward, ordinary use of language.
