Therapy Services

The experienced practitioners at NAPG specialize in treating anxiety and depressive disorders. When medication is not providing satisfactory relief, or when a patient prefers to learn skills for resolving their anxiety or depression without medication, NAPG can help. We specialize in providing relief from either of these problems. We encourage you to call our office to discuss our fees and to schedule your first appointment. DWI/MIP/Fake ID

Since Northwest Arkansas Psychological Group is licensed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services as a substance treatment center, individuals with a DWI can come here for the services that will qualify for a reinstatement of their driver’s license by Driver Control. Typically, this consists of a thorough assessment and three to four hours of individual counseling. If assessment indicates a more serious problem, this is discussed at the outset and will involve more treatment time.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

For individuals in the community who have a significant substance abuse/depenence problem that they have not been able to solve on their own, our IOP is also licensed by the Arkansas Department of Human Services. When an individual cannot leave town for treatment because of job or family obligations, our IOP is an option. It consists of 20 hours of individual sessions, usually spread over two weeks to fit the client’s schedule. IOPs have been found to be as effective as inpatient centers, in most cases.
