The Origins Of McElyea Law In 2001, Tom McElyea decided to branch out and establish his own legal practice in the Southlake-Grapevine area ? the firm that is now known as McElyea Law. Prior to the opening of his own firm, attorney McElyea primarily defended corporations and insurance companies in defense cases. This particular experience now provides the firm with a significant advantage and unique insight when it comes to pursuing personal injury claims in Texas. A Little More About Attorney McElyea On a personal note, Mr. McElyea is married to his wife Dana and they have two children, Alex and Colton. Alex is building a thriving career in the home building industry, and Colton is now a junior at Southlake Carroll. In addition to being a dedicated mom and the number-one fan of Colton’s football team, Dana serves in numerous community and charitable activities. Tom previously coached Colton’s baseball and basketball teams, and he enjoys watching his son play football for the Dragons. Tom can also be found at local gyms playing basketball several times a week. In addition, Mr. McElyea is an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
