Bradford was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the Citadel in 2001. While at the Citadel, Bradford was an academic standout and recipient of the Bernard Baruch and Frank W. Cayce academic scholarships. He was also a member of the football team and served as his companys athletic officer. In 2005, Bradford obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina. After graduation, he began his legal career as a law clerk to The Honorable Thomas A. Russo, Circuit Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. Bradford was Judge Russos first law clerk and, because of Judge Russos at-large position, they presided over criminal and civil cases as far south as Charleston County and as far North as Oconee County. During his time with Judge Russo, Bradford gained invaluable insight into the perspectives, and decision making processes of Judges in a wide variety of cases, both civil and criminal. At the conclusion of his clerkship in 2006, Bradford became an associate of Aiken, Bridges, Elliott, Tyler, & Saleeby, P.A. in his hometown of Florence, South Carolina. During his time with the Aiken, Bridges Firm, Bradford specialized in general civil defense litigation. His areas of practice included personal injury defense, construction defect litigation, medical malpractice defense, premises liability defense, as well as a wide range of constitutional law cases involving alleged violations of the 4th, 5th, 8th, and 14th Amendment rights of detained persons. Bradfords notable clients included various divisions of the South Carolina Department of Corrections, county detention centers across the Pee Dee Region, as well as city and county law enforcement officials themselves. During his time in Florence, Bradford also handled many DSS child abuse/neglect cases where he acted as attorney for parents as well as Guardian Ad Litem for children. In April of 2010, Bradford relocated to Charleston, where he has quickly expanded his areas of practice to, plaintiffs personal injury, criminal defense, and family law matters. He is admitted to practice in both state and federal district courts of South Carolina, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar Associations, and South Carolina Association for Justice. Bradford is capable of handling a wide range of legal issues, and is passionate about helping the citizens of the Charleston area. Bradford is an avid outdoorsman, and when he is not fighting for his clients, he enjoys spending his free time at the beach.
