Be the first to review

Let me give it to you straight. No song and dance. No fluff and puff. No fancy pancy interactive website. We are ‘tell it like it is” lawyers. Plain and Simple. So here it is:
We handle any and all criminal cases, misdemeanors and felonies, throughout the state.
Our primary focus is Drunk Driving, along with Driver’s License Appeals.
We are trial lawyers. We prepare cases for trial. It’s because of our trial experience and preparation, that we’re able to win at trial or get plea deals that are in your best interest.
Thru years of experience within the criminal justice system, we have gotten to know the prosecutors, the judges and in many instances, the officers themselves. This has given us the insight and the knowledge of how to navigate the system to the benefit of our clients.
Our fees are based on our projected time per case and not on the type of crime. Each case (and every fee) is based on who you are and the specific complexities of your case. That’s why we don’t quote fees over the phone. Every consultation is free. We want to know more about who you are, not what you did (allegedly).
Our main office is centrally located in the tri-county area in Southfield at the corner of northwestern highway and the I-696 expressway.

Drunk Driving

As I said on the home page, No song and dance. No fluff and puff. Plain and Simple:
Our primary focus of our practice (as much as 50%) is Drunk (and Drug) Driving.
I am certified in the administration of the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. I have the same student manual that the police train with and I use it to my (your) advantage in every case.
Those field “SOBRIETY” tests (one leg stand, walk the straight line, eye test) are actually field “INTOXICATION” tests. Plain and simple, they are not testing you for sobriety; they are testing you for intoxication! These are not pass or fail tests.
Here’s the kicker: These tests were developed by NHTSA and must be given exactly as taught or they lose their reliability. In other words, if the Officer doesn’t give you the proper instructions on how to perform the test or he does the test incorrectly, the Court can exclude the test from the evidence and from a trial. Exclude enough evidence and the case can get dismissed!
That’s the basics. Plain and Simple. For a more detailed discussion about drunk driving laws and penalties, here’s a link to the Michigan Secretary of State website with everything you might (or might not) want to know about Drunk and Drug Driving.

Driver’s License Suspensions & Appeals

If you didn’t pay that ticket, chances are your license is suspended!
If you have several tickets that need to be paid, come on in for a consultation. We may be able to work out a deal that reduces your fines and that reinstates your driver’s license.
We handle driver’s license appeals from suspensions and from revocations.
If your license has been revoked because of multiple drunk driving convictions, we will have to request a hearing with the Driver Assessment and Appeal Division (DAAD) thru the Secretary of State. We handle everything for you from start to finish. Plain and Simple.
If you want more information about the process from the Secretary of State, follow the link below:
